NOC (No Objection Certificate)
In One Line
A document confirming a relevant authority — a landlord, a fire department, a pollution control board — has no objection to your business operating as planned.
NOCs show up as supporting requirements across several licenses rather than as a standalone registration: a landlord's NOC for using a rented address as your registered office, a fire department NOC for certain premises types, or a pollution board NOC for manufacturing units. Which NOCs you need depends entirely on your specific license applications.
