DSC (Digital Signature Certificate)
In One Line
An encrypted digital ID used to sign incorporation documents and government filings electronically — required for every director or designated partner.
Since registration is entirely online, physical signatures don't work for the actual filing — a DSC is what makes a document legally signed in the eyes of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. It's issued by a certifying authority, typically valid for 1–2 years, and needed by anyone who'll sign as a director, partner, or authorized signatory.
