Registered Office
In One Line
The official address a business is registered under — where legal notices, government correspondence, and statutory records are addressed.
This doesn't have to be a commercial office — a home address works for most structures, as long as you can provide proof (a recent utility bill or rent agreement) and, if you don't own the property, a No-Objection Certificate from the owner. It can be changed later, but doing so requires filing an intimation with the ROC, so it's worth confirming the address is stable before you file.
